I had a wonderful experience dealing with them, and especially Cora Mc Intyre, who phoned me here in the United States from Erin to tell me of a possible back order. Body: Christenings are one of those very special occasions when you want everything to be perfect. Our grand daughter was born very prematurely and was finely ready for her Church ceremony. We purchased a christening outfit for our granddaughter from murphysofireland on line catalogue. Our daughter had looked for the perfect outfit for a long time and finely found murphyofirelands site with beautiful christening outfits. Our daughter is proud of her Irish heritage, she was particularly pleased with the choices avalilable on this site. She chose a lovely gown with celtic knot embroidery and the Kinsale cloak embroidered with celtic cross, and a pair of linen mary janes. The quality of the linen dress, shoes and cape was excellent. I only needed to do a light pressing of the folds from the packaging. Since this was our first purchase from this merchant we were a little hesitant about sizing but found that the 0-6months size was generously proportioned. We had barely a week between the order and the Christening ceremony so I was very pleased to have an email message from the merchant to let us know on what date the items had shipped. The little personal touches like the little lamb for our granddaughter, the lucky penny and the personal note were pleasant and charming surprise as was the invitation to visit if we are in Ireland.

Body: I was shopping for a baptismal gown for my infant, Murphys of Ireland made it such a wonderful event. Not only was the customer service efficent but it was also personal like they really cared. They sent the gown in 2 days from Ireland and included a lucky penny, stuffed sheep, postcard and a personal note. We also got advance e-mail notification from another Murphy when the dress shipped, telling us they had rushed it as they were unsure as to the date of babys christening! Body: I bought my sons christening outfit from Murphy of Ireland. It was easy to order, and they have 2-3 day shipping at reasonable cost. They sent a friendly, personal confirmation e-mail asking for info like the christening date to make sure the outfit arrived on time, and also an order summary e-mail with price & shipping charges, and a Fed Ex tracking number. I received the outfit in 3 days. It was absolutely perfect, beautifully gift wrapped and they also included a handwritten note with a lucky penny, some toddler PJs and an adorable stuffed sheep. I am thrilled with the outfit, its gorgeous Irish linen and fit my son perfectly, but I have to say the combination of the great quality and the unbelievable customer service made my day! This was honestly the best online purchase Ive ever made. I shop online a lot and this is the first time I received e-mail other than a form letter, or a wee something extra. I am completely satisfied with the whole transaction and I recommend them very highly, the service was personal and warm and the items they sent are really nicely made.
